These terms govern your use of mycommute.london ("the site", "we", "our"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site is

mycommute.london is a free, independent website that displays live London Underground line status, real-time tube departure boards, and station information for the Transport for London (TfL) network. Travel data is sourced from TfL Open Data. The site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Transport for London.

No guarantees on travel information

The site shows information from TfL's public feed as accurately and quickly as we can, but real-time travel data is subject to delays, gaps, errors and outages outside our control.

• Information shown may not always be current, complete or correct.
• Departures, statuses, platforms and arrival times can change at short notice.
• The official source for any TfL travel decision remains tfl.gov.uk, the TfL Go app, and station staff.

You use the information shown on this site at your own risk. For safety-critical, accessibility-related, or time-critical journeys, please cross-check with TfL directly.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and reasonably. You agree not to:

• Use the site in a way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems
• Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the site to rebuild a competing service (TfL's own Open Data feed is the appropriate source for that — see TfL's terms)
• Use the site to send spam, malware, or any unlawful material
• Interfere with the cookie consent mechanism, advertising, or analytics in a way that breaks the site for other users

Third-party content

The site relies on data and services from third parties, including TfL Open Data, Google Analytics and Google AdSense. Their content and services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability or content of third-party services, and any links to external sites are provided for convenience only.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Adverts are not endorsements. We do not control the specific ads shown to you. If you have a concern about a particular ad, you can report it via Google's ad reporting tools.

Intellectual property

The design, layout, graphics, branding and original written content of mycommute.london are owned by us or our licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. The TfL roundel, line names, line colours and station names are trademarks or registered trademarks of Transport for London and remain the property of TfL.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The site may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, technical reasons, or due to upstream issues with TfL Open Data. We may add, change or remove features at any time without notice.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, mycommute.london is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any loss or damage — including missed connections, delayed journeys, lost time, or any other direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the information shown on it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these terms or your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
